Building an OM; Part 39

I want to prevent laquer on the spot where the bridge will be glued, so I have to locate the exact bridge location.

Two pieces of rope act like strings.
Take a look at the first coats of nitro cellulose. I expirimented with some blonde shellac to pop the grain but that did'nt add much to the grain and made the maple more yellow/brownish. So I decided to go for pure nitro
I think I like it.
